Comments Off Unfortunately in some sports, scandals and cheating is rife. The world of cricket has for many years seen many match fixing incidents and I wouldn’t be surprised to find out if there was anything dodgy happening in the Cricket World Cup that is happening now in the sub-continent. Cricket is not the only sport to experience such scandals. Rugby League in Australia, soccer in Europe and horse racing have all experienced betting scandals. Comments Off The CBS TV show 60 Minutes as been in the news recently. Well not so long after 60 Minutes did a whole show on the perils of gambling, they then went onto interviewing sports betting guru Billy Walters, presenting gambling in a whole new light. The anti-online gambling piece titled “Slot Machines: The Big Gamble” clearly illustrated the CBS’s point of view on gambling and so it was quite a shock that 7 days later they did a whole “we love gambling” show.
