Irish online casino gaming provider, Cryptologic, is on the verge of signing an agreement with multi-national online sports betting operator, Betclic and is planning to set up a series of new games in alliance with multinationals DC Comics and Paramount Digital Entertainment.
The Dublin-based company, which is enrolled on the New York, Toronto and London stock exchanges, develops online casino games like blackjack and slot machines.
Top online sports betting providers include Irish bookmaker Paddy Power, as well as British operators Victor Chandler, Cheltenham Gold Cup support Totesport and betting exchange Betfair. It is known that the organization is expected to declare it has recruited Malta-based sports betting group Betclic, this week which will provide online casino players with Cryptologic games in its online casino.
Betclic is branch of French giant Mangas and is mainly focused on sports betting; it has a specific concern on European football. The group has dealings in more than 15 countries and, according to the latest figures it has about 1.5 million customers. Betclic is also opering on enhancing its poker and casino offerings, which have become a customized part of online betting businesses.
A week before the company recruited ex-Ladies’ World Poker Tournament champion, Isabelle Mercier as the company’s consultant. Mercier has worked in the same field for some of the company’s competitors. The deal is supposed to be publicized later this week, and Betclic will be the 30th licensee employed by Cryptologic since it swapped focus from managing its own online casino business to developing and selling software to other online operators.
The Irish company has dealings with DC Comics and Paramount Digital Entertainment – parent of Paramount Pictures – and launches games using both multinational groups’ characters. This week, it is also expected to bring out a new blackjack and casino games featuring DC Comics hero Superman as well as Braveheart from Paramount’s Scottish warrior William Wallace, which starred Hollywood’s popular Mel Gibson.
